When does the airline recruitment period end?

I understood that alot of airlines recruited during the winter/spring periods in time for summer season.

Or maybe i'm wrong?

Many airlines in the IT Charter sector do indeed tend to train their new pilots in the quieter winter period thus interviews take place late summer onwards for courses mid winter and spring ready for the onlsaught of a new summer seaon in May.

Scheduled operators may simply train as and when demand dictates regardless of the time of year.
