Hi everybody,
I was thinking of doing my JAA CPL in USA, and I was wandering, when you go for the first interview do they really care about where you've done your training? I mean is there any difference in quality between the training facilities in Europe and those in usa or somewhere else? Anybody knows the airlines point of view?
Cheers

Can't compare as i've only trained in Europe doing the UK JAA syllabus. However i would say, train where you want to work. If you want to work in Europe, train in Europe. Converting licences is not cheap so you'll save little in the long run.

Worth doing a search for the Europe vs US topic as it has been done many times before on here.

Do what suits you at the time. Thats the beauty of modular training.

The airlines do not care where you did your CPL, all they care about is, do you have a CPL/IR? I work at EFT in Florida, and the reference requests from airlines roll in every week.

I went to EFT last year for my CPL.
I now have a job in the UK on the 737, guess what......I was never asked where I did my training.
