I am hoping to secure an interview soon for Chief Pilot with a small RPT airline operating a couple of turbo props.

Can anyone can give me an indication of the type of questions asked at this type of interview I would be most grateful, thanks.

Is the interview with CASA for CP approval or with the company for initial employment?

you can bet your bottom dollar they will ask you your name. :}
If its a CASA interview, it will be all about rules and regs and a test of your knowledge of the CASR's and CAO's and your ability to find stuff in them.

Thanks guys, I am fairly versed on what to expect from CASA, if I get that far!

I was looking for pointers of what to expect from an initial interview with airline management for the post of CP.

Thank you.

from an owner's point of view, you could expect to get q's such as ...
1...what makes you think that you can do the job
2...produce "hard copy" not computer generated documentation to
support your case (fiction is harder to support from hard copy)
3...what can you bring to the company that is of use to the organisation.
4...wher do you want to take the company if you get the job.
pretty straight forward really THEN you have CASA to answer to...!!
go for it and good luck
