Hi
My previous research enquiry for a publication was well answered on this forum, I'm hoping people will be as kind again.
I would really like to hear of anyones experiences of going through OTU in WW2, or anyone with knowledge of the OTUs in terms of course construction for different trades, how were the courses run etc. Basically any information regarding OTU. As well as the above we are interested in the Empire training scheme and the transition from this to OTU. What was it like flying in GB from, say, Canada, busier skies etc.
WE have a lot of answers to the above but would like some feedback from "them that know"!
Many thanks
Noel J Ryan

Noel, I would recommend the forum for 57Rescue, http://www.network54.com/Forum/261665 who are dedicated to preserving the memory of the Halifax, and amongst whose members are many who crossed the pond in the course of their training. The entries from some of the members make interesting reading, and enough of the aircrew are still be around to help answer your questions.
