My arm has been twisted to help with a local Air Cadets squadron, specifically with fund-raising (all ATC units are regd charities) - so I've been thinking about how we could raise funds with an aviation theme.

A generous person may be able to "lend" their private airstrip, which is about 600m, and not in controlled airspace. Is it realistic to think about organising a fly-in to the strip, with the offer of food and refreshments, and the probability of a major draw in the shape of his almost unique aircraft, which has a very special history? I'm hoping that it would be on static display, as well as performing.

The strip is in South Central England, so should be accessible to quite a fair number.

So for a good cause, what would you want/like, when would you like it, and how much could be expect to charge? I'm not planning to offer this to large numbers of non-fly-in participants, but we may sell "VIP passes" to a few.
