Sorry everyone, more transponder stuff. I really can't find the definitive work. Would be very grateful for suggestions as to answers.

22. The radar controller suspects that you are experiencing unlawful interference. What should he do to confirm this with an auto detector unit? (With no mode A interpretation?)
a) Switch from 7700 to sby to test 7500
b) Switch from 7600 to 7700
c) Switch from 7500 to 7700
d) Switch from 7000 to 7500

23. If the aircraft cannot squawk ident, what directions can ATS give to the pilot without directing him to turn the aircraft?
a) Switch to on then standby
b) Switch on to off
c) Switch on to standby to off
d) ?????

23 is easy, must be standby. If you switch an older model transponder off then it won't be seen for a short while after switching back on again, I believe about 2 minutes (as you will find out if you accidentally knock the avionics master off while flying IFR!).

66. Mode A code 7500 and thereafter to code 7700.
