A-DAY for our pensions!

Firstly, has anyone heard about the government plan for A-DAY (apparently, 6 Apr 06)?

Secondly, does anyone have any information on if/how this is likely to affect our military pensions. If so, why have we not heard about this sooner?

Before anyone panics, I'm really not sure if this affects us at all, I'm just wondering (and hoping) that it doesn't!

Please shed some light if you can............over to you.......

I am fully aware that I have had to make a decision on changing pension (I have decided to stay on AFP75) however, I was wondering if the governments A-DAY would affect both pensions, or has this alrady been addressed in AFP05 and that AFP75 will not be affected?
