Hi all,

I am currently studying for the ATPL'S. And would like to know if anyone has got any recomendation for any good meteorology Dvd's. Iam finding this section on weather a bit tricky, and reckon if i watch a dvd on it i will be able to understand the basics of it a lot better.

Thanks again!!

Not a DVD, but www.OATMedia.com have a CD-ROM course on Aviation Met at ATPL theory level.

... and for the purpose of ATPL-Met, that CD is probably one of the best learning tools.

If you struggle with Met, get it.

Good luck,

I put the reason why I got a first time pass at meteorology (with a good mark) down to the OAT Meteorology CBT as mentioned above.

The animations helped me understand the subject material somewhat. The CBT covers everything you need to know for the JAA ATPL Meteorology exam.

The OAT Met CD was worth it's weight in gold when I went through the exams. (It's not that heavy but I'm sure you get the jist!)
