I hope this is the most appropriate forum.
Clearing out a cupboard last weekend I came across this fuel pump http://www.swtvc.org/pprune/pump1.jpg. Its been in there for >20 years and AFAIR came as part of a job lot of ex-WD optical goodies that we scavenged for lenses, prisims etc to build telescopes. It is unused and seems in good condition and may just be of use to some restoration project somewhere. The pump itself is a Plessey Motor Driven Fuel Pump Type EF6 Mk2 Ref SU/4658 Serial 3985. The motor is a 24V model 16050 Ser no 03/69.

PS,

The pump looks very much like the transfer pump (or one of them) that were used in the Avro Shackleton, I seem to remember we scrapped about 400 fuels pumps from a batch I purchased from the MOD sales in 1995, and some looked like that, and from memory it was described as "Transfer pump Fuel" then the part no and job number and requisition number all were etched into every piece that would detach or could be screwed or unbolted from the main body.

How about contacting the BBMF - it might be useful for them - Lancaster?

And while you are there you can download some screen savers of the BoB Memorial flight.
