Lingus left with a hole in fuselage after Lightning Strike

Can anybody clarify this ? Apparently diverted to Lisnbon and had a hole in the fuselage afterwards !!? Smoke filled cabin, the normal run...

Anyone hear anything ??

Holes in the fuselage are pretty normal after a lightning strike. Pretty much a non event really.
