Exactly one year ago, Hercules C1 XV179 was shot down in Iraq.
With it perished one of the finest bunch of professional aviators one could ever hope to meet.
This evening, please spare a thought for them and their families.
Our hopes and prayers are still with you.

They're not ever very far from my thoughts...glad to hear Lye did another great job honouring them.
Impossible to imagine it has been a year gone already...
