Hi folks,
Well winter is certainly here and doesn't my nose know it.Well anyone gone through the afforementioned title? I would like to know this time of year what time frame do you think a CPL skills aspect of the License conversion should one budget for. My current flying school here (I am at the IR stage looking ahead ) says how long is a piece of string cannot budget on that. I understand I have no formal hour requirement but genrally 5 hours gets banded around. A pain in the ass as if the IR was a painful experience enough I now have to try and learn how to do a VFR cross country again:{ and learn about carburettor icing which it feels I have 20 hours when the instructor keeps tellin' me to remember:ugh:
Any experiences please let us know what you 'experienced' both in terms of flying school and costs and time frame - I don't have endless amounts of cash
