What are people’s thoughts on aircraft ownership syndicates??
Worth the money? Are there many?
Alpha have been running for ages, what are they like, anyone been a member?

Get everything in writing before you sign up.
There will be variable costs (eg. inspections, time-based equipment replacement) and fixed costs (eg. parking, insurance, annual inspections).
Make sure you know how unexpected costs and repairs caused by accidents or detailed inspections are handled.
Who deals with the bureaucracy to pay their bills, demands and paperwork ? (Avdata, Airservices, CASA)
How are bookings handled and what happens when there are scheduling conflicts or long-term trip requirements.
Is there a kitty for repainting or refurbishment ?
That said, if the group can get along ok, then a syndicate is a good way to keep an aircrafts' utilisation high and thus reduce the fixed costs.
