TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- A military plane has crashed in northern Iran, the semi-official FARS news agency reported, but there was no immediate word on casualties or the cause of the accident.

According to FARS, the Falcon jet was en route from Tehran to Uroumieh when it went down around 10:15 a.m. on Monday. The military aircraft was believed to be carrying members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, including a number of commanders, and is the second such accident in the last five weeks........

"The head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards ground forces and at least 10 other officers have died in a plane crash.

Revolutionary Guards' spokesman, Gen Masoud Jazayeri, said the plane "crashed near the airport due to bad weather, lack of visibility and failure in both engines."

That'll do it every time :oh:
