Hi
I am starting an FAA IR conversion on Feb 6th at Bristol Flying Centre but need to do an MEP before this date.
I am looking for a school which uses Seneca's.
I have found a school in the midlands who do it for £1295, but there seneca is out on loan to Oxford presently.
Does anyone know of anywhere else that does the MEP for this kind of value?
I will consider anywhere in the UK if the price is right, but preferably in in the Southern Half!?
Thanks;)

Hi,

I completed my MEP & initial IR at BFC on the Seneca & used the same aircraft for both the IR & MEP. It was a very useful start prior to the IR training gaining 6 hours on type. They are also 200T models so it is useful to carry out IR in the same model.

As you are converting from FAA you will want to complete in min hours so if you practice out of Bristol during the MEP & familarise yourself with the aircraft/avionics it may save you vital £s during the IR.

Dont forget if you save £350 on the course of your MEP by going elsewhere it may be used up having additional hours training on your IR aircraft section!:}

Best of luck
