AMC at Gatwick

Ok so it is not a medical condition :O ....

I need to go for an initial class one and would like to know from experience how long I should give it to get to the CAA Aeromedical Centre from the airport. I will be flying into the south terminal and will take a taxi.

Is it a major problem for them if somebody is slightly late for an examination?

Taxi from South Terminal at Gatwick to CAA will be about 5-10 minutes.

I'm pretty sure there is a free bus that will take you straight to aviation house.....
