Hi
Which flying hour is more valuable?
PIC time in military medium transport aircraft and Co pilot flying time in commercial jet (i.e. A320)?

if both are about 500 hrs.

Cheers

I just want to choose better pilot job for me.

Another daft question. Valuable in what way? Money or interest? Why an A320?

Maybe you should steer clear of the Armed forces and just go to work in McDonalds.

Your post was completely unacceptable with the level of swearing you chose. If you want to use such schoolboy language go to another site where you will not get a red card!

As of now you will find that you cannot use PPRuNe for a while.

I think he now has an answer.

Rongrits, not all military pilots are as pistorf as these guys. :\

Everyone swears, but why suddenly is there a level that is OTT?

Had occasion to edit two other posts earlier on and now one that was not to be tolerated.

In July last year Danny made it clear that swearing, 'hidden' or in full view would be subjected to some equal levels of censorship and in certain cases banning.

Please gentleman, lets not carry this to the extreme.

Rongrits, you don't sound as if you want to join the military, merely use it as a means to an end. With that attitude it's unlikely that you would pass selection.

Only experienced the military transport side of things but it is very fulfilling - especially on deployment, which seems to be becoming more the norm these days . Who else lets you fly at a level where you have to pull up over powerlines at 300 knots :}

totally concur.

Or indeed you could go under them

Wouldn't be the first military aircraft to go under them.

Is that under abridge or wires? I've flown under wires many times but have always fancied having a go under the Severn Bridge....maybe I will wait until I'm on my last sortie.

I feel sorry for Rongrits in all this.

There he was, wondering what would look best on his CV, only to have his thread hijack by tales of daring do......

Like I said at the beginning.

Valuable in what way? Money or interest? Why an A320?

What is he trying to get to look good on his CV? Its not like he is running for Prime Minister is it?

And where is he? Dissapeared off like the rest of those who ask stupid questions here.

If he is on 737's why would he be asking about A320's.
Where did you get his website address from?

I pushed the PROFILE button.
I know it's not formally taught in Blighty, but I just depressed it, tapped my shoes together, and hoped to see the light.
