I downloaded a screensaver the other day which has screwed up Outlook. Basically whenever you click on any view i.e inbox, calendar etc the page comes up but then immediately changes to a web browser with google. It means I can't read my emails or anything.

I've had a look around the menus/options but cant seem to find anything. I've also tried detect/repair and also run setup again but without any luck. If I uninstall it first will I lose all my folders etc?

Anyone any ideas??

Thanks in advance

Have you tried 'System Restore' to a date before you installed the screensaver?

It sounds as though it's carrying some form of spyware, so if you haven't already done so, I suggest you download and run 'spybot' after you've done your System Restore.

I downloaded a screensaver the other day Looking after your computer really really really is lots easier if you refrain from downloading and installing viruses and spyware and adware and suchlike.

But them this forum would no longer have a purpose would it :D
