What is the BMI cutoff point for the issue of an initial class one?

None really!!...max 35 and you won't get hassled...over 35 and depending how much over and how the feel, they will get you to sit in an aeroplane and see that you can perform all the duties expected without any problem i.e. operate the controls and perform emergency procedures...If you are really over the limit they will get you to see a cardiologist, perform stress ECG, check your blood for cholesterol etc, etc...someone will end up giving you a lecture and that will be a pain every year until you get it down to 35 and then they will leave you alone.....well that's for renewals...I suppose that the initial they will certainly give you a good lecture as well all the other....:eek:
