I have recently had all my posts deleted from the Caribbean room. After the first was removed I edited the original post and re posted. I admit the first was in my opinion border line but the second was perfectly acceptable.

Where are the rules for posting??

How can it be wrong to warn other pilots of poor working conditions on a pilot rumor website????

Why ask on JetBlast? I can't even get an answer as to why posts in Jetblast are deleted.

If you wrote what you had to say in such a way that the owner of this site was put at risk of litigation, that would be one possible reason for the removal of the posts.

my first post was birder line, the second was fine to me. no risk to PPRUNE. just a warning about poor work conditions and an outline of what a pilot had to pay once employed.

;) I seem to think that, just perhaps and maybe, I noticed something about this yesterday.
May I respectfully suggest that you pm the moderator concerned for enlightenment, if not consolation.:D

If the moderator concerned identified him/herself, that is an excellent course of action. Difficult when the mod is anonymous.

;)

Well, whilst I have no wish to fiddle around with stable doors, I rather think that the poor recipient of the moderated frown has a Hobson's choice here.:O

insert_name You should email the mod for the forum the posts were removed from. Capt Stable (http://www.pprune.org/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=50828) is your man. Click on the link and email him to see why.

Don't forget this site is run voluntary so you may not get an immediate response from the mod if he is away flying for a few days. :)

insert_name, when you signed up for a username, you agreed to a number of things. THEY were the rules for posting. Look them up if you can't remember.

All forums except 3 have named moderators, their names stated at the top of the forum. By clicking on the name you are taken to a page from where you can send the Mod in question a personal message or e-mail.
Very straightforward.

If you do not get a (satisfactory) answer to your question, there is always the option of mailing PPRuNe Admin.

Binos you are a long term forum user. I am surprised and disappointed by your post. You know full well that we moderate JB in accordance with the JB ROE (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=144080). You also know that we will always try to answer any PM question that we find in our inbox.
