I intend to fly to Florida to build some multi time and get my CPL.
I saw this school offering cheap prices to build multi time hours.
Did anybody hear of this school??

Thanks

ARI-BEN aviation, Fort Pierce.
Well known for their multi packages.
Know a couple of people who went there,

* You will fly mostly at night since the planes are used for regular instruction during the day.
* They do not reimburse outside fuel, so to stay cheap you have to return to base, which limits your cross country distance.
* You will fly with another rated pilot, one of you under the hood, both of you log PIC under the safet pilot rules.
Out of a 100 hrs, you fly 50 yourself and sit next to somebody for the other 50.
Safety-pilot PIC time is NOT recognized in JAA- world.
* Planes vary from very nice (with WX radar) to supposedly not so nice :ugh: , do not know if you can influence the scheduling.

Do a search on Ari Ben, there is a lot of info about them on here somewhere.
:ok:

Cheap school. Good instructors. Owned by a guy called Mike Cohen. Some like him - others don't. I've never had a problem with him, in fact, he helped me out of a serious bind I was in. Found him to be firm but fair.

Just don't pay your money and then expect a FlightSafety International type welcome by the way. Not going to happen!
It's the McDonald's of flight training as far as creature comforts go, but you can build hours and get ME experience cheaply.
