Well worth a listen as those in the know will tell you. Previous episodes have dealt with such topics as;

FRES - what is it exactly? (Answer: Nobody knows yet)
Sea Harrier.
Typhoon.
Traffalgar celebrations.

and, above all, it's very, very funny.

Unless you're a civil servant.

Unless you're a civil servant.

That's a controversial comment (i.e. wrong). The main civil servant character (Zelda) is quite clearly the second most switched-on character in the programme.

The first, of course, is CPO Grieves. :ok:

"What would we do without him?"

"Make our own tea, probably".

Unfortunately the only civil servants I know are benefits agency and employment agency fraud investigators - because my brother is one NOT because I'm working and signing on . . .

Non of them find senior civil servants in any way amusing!

An excellent radio comedy. I’ve said it before on this forum and I’ll say it again, Wg Cdr Brian is a perfect depiction of many career orientated blunties in my service with very little grasp on the issues that matter. Whilst it means that the RAF takes the inevitable brunt of most of the humour, it is well worth while.:ok:

Fairplay, it sounds like it's been well researched!:p

Did anyone else spot the ". . . what is the RAF for" dig? :-)

I made the mistake of asking that - once - as a joke.

Almost died under a torrent of light blue . . .
