Strip near Milton Keynes

I wish to take a friend flying next weekend from Milton Keynes. Can anyone suggest somewhere local where I can can fly in and take him flying in my Cub-type aircraft. I do have quite a bit of strip experience, and I'm happy to pay a contribution to the strip owner's costs, but not to a Cranfield extent.
I've nothing against Cranfield; we have offices there...I can't afford the silly fees.

Turweston's probably the best bet. I think £10 last time in there, but free if uploading some fuel & very friendly. About 25 min drive from MK; however local restrictions severe so you must ring before departure. Otherwise Hinton next best about 35 min drive & a 'contribution' to funds but beware skydivers - check 119.45 well before arrival & Brize 124.27
