I will second the PMDG 737. An excellent way of wasting a whole evening. Go for it!

and while you are at it, check out FSNav too.

I'll third the PMDG 737NG add ons.

Watch out for the PMDG 747-400 which is due out anytime now. Got a great review in a recent PC Pilot article.

Other sites to look at are:

Avsim
IFDG
Project Opensky
Simviation
Surclaro

I'm sure there are more but I'm very busy at the moment.

Have fun!

Just had a quick look at the 747 sim, it looks excellent. Has anyone got all of these sims. Im after one that has most of the systems replicated. At the moment its a toss up between pmdg 737, the level D 767 sim and the pmdg 747 sim. Any advice chaps??

The PMDG 737 is pretty old, essentially being designed for FS2002 and updated since. It's still a good add-on though.

Their new 747-400 is a nice piece of kit, although I find it a bit temperamental in terms of the flight model and the soundset.

For my money, the LDS 767 is right on the money. Rock solid flight model, beautiful VC and all the functionality you could ever need.

I just bought PMDG b747-400 and b747-400F. I am running out of pitch control during steep turns. The plane sinks and i have to use excessive trim to maintain altitude. The rollouts are just impossible since the trim is fairly slow. It is also hard to level off from a steep climb. My sensitivity is set to max on elevators.

Does anybody else have the same problem with a logitech joystick?
