Was it a weather diversion ?? Arrived mid morning and parked on the Western apron and was still here at 1600. Anybody know more?

I can only assume it was a diversion from Hawarden.
I have a feeling I saw 3 BGA flights flying in Europe today on Eurocontrol and the other two were flying south from France.

A300ST (Beluga) FGSTB diverted into Brum earlier today due to strong X-winds (up to 44kts) at Hawarden.
Expected to depart to Hawarden in the morning, weather permitting.
Only other divert today at Brum was a Ryanair B737-800 from Luton

Anyone know the cross wind limits for the Beluga. Are they different from the a normal A300.

I can remember landing at Harwarden in both a Jetstream 31 and a BAe 125-800 and -1000 and thought my time had come. The wind just whips across the runwayand at times it appears you are landing sideways.
Take offs in the crosswinds were quite fun too!!
