Hi all. Does anyone know if the ipod video has an FM radio on it? I have searched everywhere but cannot find out. Does anyone have one who may be able to answer?

I'm fairly certain it doesn't but could be corrected by someone.
Also, if it did have one I think you'd have found it mentioned somewhere?

Cheers. I am sure I read somewhere that an ipod had an FM radio built in :confused:
Just can't find it on the 30Gig video one that I might buy.

The iPod Video does not have an FM Radio. Full specs here (http://www.apple.com/uk/ipod/specs.html)
The closest accessory I can find is from Griffin (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/ifmdock/index.php)

I second that...thers no radio.
Although you can get some thingy which transmits something or other to your iPod... I believe whatever it is is illegal in the UK?
No idea what it is, just vaguely remember reading about it!

It transmits *from* the iPod, to a car stereo - thereby making it wire-free. It's illegal in the UK due to archaic radio broadcast licensing laws, even though it has a very small broadcasting radius. There are a few different brands, but they all do the same thing.
