Hi all,

I fly 737-800 on X-plane 8.20. Very nice to fly.

My question is what to do after landing, in what order?

This is what I do:

De-select reverse thrust at 70kts.
Re-track speed brake.
Flaps ups.
Slow to under 20kts before taxing off.
Landing lights off, taxi on.
Strobe lights off.
Contact ground.
Transponder off.

Have I missed anything??

Wedding ring off...chat up hostie...eat soggy sandwich and take the piss out the captain's landing.

Phone bookie and place £10 on the 2.30 at Kempton Park.

Ogle the only female passenger with a pulse and full use of her limbs and parallel vison.

Scratch nuts while skipper does the walk round.

Fart.

Attempt to diperse fart.

Blame fart on skipper.

Get one number on your sudoku puzzle.

Depart five minutes late.

Everything is in there, but according to all SOP's I had to use during my flying career, the order should be changed a bit:

Deseclting reverse is correct, then slow down to taxi speed, which can certainly be faster than 20 kts, then retract the speedbrakes and after you have vacated the active runway you should do teh remaining points you mentioned already.

Hope that helps.

Ok lets see which one's I can remember.......

Thrust reversers stowed,
Taxi off can be at 60kts for a so rated RET,
Retract speedbrakes and this is the trigger for the both to complete their respective chex:
Skipper - Taxi light on, Landers off,
FO (poor sod) - Txponder to stby
Start APU (if req'd)
Pitot heat off
Strobes off
Flight directors off
Reset MCP to ..... (company SOP's vary greatly)
Reset speed window to 100
Autobrake off (if previously selected for landing)
Weather radar off to save marshallers' testacleeees
Check hydraulic brake pressure prior to entering apron.
Kiss captain's @rse / apologise for yr poor landing!

All this on an 800.
Enjoy!

Ah, well, in the old days it was reverse thrust after the last flight of the day...:E

Sadly, in our PC society of today, now no longer possible.

NB: Reverse thrust...as in four fingers of your favorite adult beverage, usually served up while on the taxiway.
