In Manchester Crown Court yesterday an Albanian illegal immigrant was jailed for 12 years for the murder of Kalvinder Singh (a Sikh) who he taunted for associating with 'white bastards'.

The other two members of the gang fled and have not been caught.

Our heartfelt sympathies must go out to Mt Singh's widow and young family, who have been left distraught by this savage, unneccessary, and pointless murder of a man whose only crime appeared to be to fit in with his local community.

The Albanian clearly had no problem however with accepting money, housing, medical and other benefits from us "white bastards".

One would hope that a minimum of 12 years would be served, however don't hold your breath.

Problem is even twelve years in a UK gaol will be luxury compared with going back home – deport him.
Although some will say in 12Y time he should be given residency as he’s been there so long. :confused:

Even better, why don't we send him home and pay for him to be incarcerated in an Albanian prison?

I think Albania has serious issues. Didn't the entire government collapse because of Pyramid Schemes a few years ago? It hits my top ten of Sh*t countries.

A lady friend of mine has an Albanian boyfriend, who tells me that most of his countrymen claim to outsiders that they hark from Italy, because they are too embarrased to say they come from Albania.

In this environment I suppose Identity becomes a major issue, especially after the lifting of the mighty Iron Curtain.

It's possible that the issue for the Albanian was that he didn't like the Indian fella associating with whites, because Albanians are whites and it provoked some sort of identity crisis. If the Home office were doing their job properly this guy would still be trying to climb a fence in Calais.

Whatever this fellows issue was, 12 years in prison... What a joke. Try the gallows. String him up next to the killers of Anthony Walker I say.

What I see as a good idea, and quite cheap to maintain, is a type of 'Sheep Dip' in the Chunnel. If the train was to run with its wheels just covered in some from of noxious liquid for a few miles methinks it would remove some of the refuse from beneath the trains.
I suppose that once a day there would have to be a kind of 'scraper' to clean the bottom of the dip out, but that would be far cheaper than keeping them in places like the one we have near Cambridge.

I was surprised I hadn't spotted this in the news, as it was a big thing when it happened, given that they took a while to track the killer down. However Google is my friend, although it didn't show up much (on the first page at least) but it did send me to the Greater Manchester Police website which had a report. The biggest surprise though was that a search of the Daily Mail website didn't show anything up, as they are normally no slouches when it comes to crime by illegal immigrants. Based on that, and a couple of reports in the Manchester Evening News and that 3 letter acronym that usually raises your ire I discovered the following:

The fight started between the Albanians and the white guys Mr Singh was with. It was certainly racially motivated, but in the more 'traditional' sense.

The Albanian guy was actually sentenced to life with 12 years minimum, so he won't be out earlier than that (I believe he can't apply for parole before then, I'm sure m'learned friends on here will soon correct me if I'm wrong).

He wasn't on benefits, he was working for a bus company (albeit under a false name).

There is no mention of him being in the UK illegally - some Albanians are here legitimately you know.

I share your disgust at what happened, and am a bit surprised that the minimum was only 12 years, but you might want to check your news source. If I was more cynical I might think you had an agenda!

No-one has dared venture - indeed are we pc outcasts if indeed we do venture to ask - which way the Albanians religious beliefs tended?
