To the wider Apache tribe (non-UK).
The ability to start engines using air from an external supply, do other nations use Apache aircraft as that external supply?

Please PM.

Apache units from the other side of the pond do not, as a general measure, do EAS from another aircraft. This leads to the hoses being lost, damaged or buried so deep in stores as to prevent their use.
The APU has proved itself to be very relaible. Also, while in bad guy country, you always keep at least one engine running, which will allow for the cross-start.
