The aforementioned a/c is due to depart tomorrow from Southend. Any Pruners any idear of the actual ETD as I am determined to see it as such departures are very rare.

Sorry forgot camera, however, there were a number of people witnessing the departure taking pics. The rotation was after maimum runway use and the Stage 111 hush kit was suprisingly effective. The 1-11 took flight and made an orderly and quite climb.

Another one for the old a/c forum is the pending arrival at Southend of a Jetstar due anytime now for refit by Benson Lund. Like the 1-11 there cannot be many of these flying.

The Jetstars always seemed to visit LGW like buses during the 80's when I was around the ramp. After waiting ages one would arrive thenanother 2 would turn up in quick succession.
The -731 powered machine was very popular with the flight deck guys, but the quality of the interiors varied a lot.
