..Former students together with a training organisation are taking action against Massey University for failing to provide courses of a promised standard to students who have paid vast sums of money..

..some students are saying that they won't tell prospective employers where they got their qualifications because of Masseys bad reputation in the industry...

...Oh dear oh dear oh dear..

..they say only about one quarter of an iceburg is visible above the waterline!!

Massey have completely lost the plot (well, the School of Aviation has, under their newly-imported head).

You have to wonder if the university has any intention of continuing with the program. Budgets are being slashed, necessary expenditure is not being made, and of course the students suffer. They are quite right to not want to reveal where they were trained.

The school mentioned in the article has been appallingly treated to say the least. Good luck to them, and the students, with their legal action.

Bit of a hard one to hide, isn't it, when someone asks, "can I see your logbook please" and there's pages and pages of registrations starting MB_, along with all the stickers. Sounds like these particular students are highlighting the worst parts of the course rather than looking for good bits. What are they going to do, say, "Actually, no, you can't see my logbook"?????? Too late, get on with life. Plenty of us have disliked things from there and moved on. If you don't like the cold, get off the iceberg and try swimming. There's no such thing as a free lunch, you have to work for what you really want. There's plenty more fush in the sea. It's never too late to change your mind until it is. You shouldn't tar everyone from there with the same brush. It's a hard road finding the perfect flying school, and it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye or their first $100,000. You can't always get what you want. You can't always get what you want. You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find,

How hard is it to provide a ground course for rotor heads anyway.? Surely just the mandatory pilot subjects with a bit of chopper POF and Tech? Some airy fairy human factors BS and u have a degree. Whats the problem? Ive heard massey fixed wing course are also quite interesting too.
