If i was you id be crossing off number 1 straight away....

Definitely not the best place on the strip. There are others which will give you better bang for your buck.

First time ive actually looked on air aus's site....

On the main page it reads.....

"Safety
Air Australia is second to none in its operations. Since our beginning in 1992 our pilots have flown over 72,000 Flight Hours and 17,000,000 kms Accident and Incident Free."

.... On ya Chucky.....

Bout time you updated that hey????

It's a long walk between Sydney and Perth Buddy.

Due to recent matters here, I would suggest you get onto www.casa.gov.au website and see what sort of security matters you may have to address here. I'm sure someone else will enter about here and tell you that Citizens in our own Country are being made to pass stringent new checks of our backgrounds so I don't know how someone from your neck of the woods will get on with a student licence.

Probably better than me I suppose. Try New Zealand if you miss out here, they just sold their Air Force so would welcome your money to pay their light bill.

Try Professional Pilot Training, they are not quite in Sydney but not far north of Sydney in Coffs Harbour. their tel #: +61-2-6651-5199.

You could try www.ppt.net.au, not 100% sure on the web address.

Good Luck

Perth is great for weather. The Air Force put our flying school there because of the number of good weather days.

Would highly recommend Sydney Flight Training Centre. They'll give you the option of training on the Cessna 152 or Warrior, have a good, well maintained fleet and are professionally run. They also have experience in training overseas students.

Please tell me that you do want to learn how to LAND and not just fly around. :uhoh:
