If there are any ATC from Northern France or the crew from the office taking flight plans (who knew the callsign G-BZNN well in the end!) here I would like to say a big thank you. I was helped very much in my first IFR tour today, practising instrument flying from Bournemouth to Alderney to Dinard to La Fleche to Cherbourg and back to Bournemouth, building hours to be an air taxi pilot.
I was a novice an IFR flying in France, wanting to learn more for my future job, and everyone helped me out in learning what I had to do. All were so helpful and friendly - and I would love to meet the Deauville controller this afternoon with the very sexy voice! ;)
