A little difficult to understand what you are trying to explain. Possibly an aircraft inbound on the Flinders Island track joining the 16 DME arc for VOR 14R. See Here (http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/publications/current/dap/MLTVO01-103.pdf)

jetstar1 Picked it like a bleeding nose :E
Occasionally we will track them from the 009R direct to the 14VOR IAF (310R014nm) which will appear similar to the observed track.;)

Rats! I was about to suggest it was a CIA aircraft full of Terrorists being sent some where for "rendition".

Not sure as to the level of presumption involved...... ahem, anorak. Feeble - I didn't think so. As for where it all comes from - neither here nor there.
Anyway, if seeing an unusual aeroplane fly over your house is what turns your crank, more power too you.:D

Hey, I saw a 172 on floats on L. taupo last week. Any ideas what it was doing there? Where it was coming from?
