After a nice warbird static event at Portland Maine last weekend, the BAHF C-54 "Flying Museum" of Berlin Airlift History & Education flew down to Nashua NH to be on static display with the aviation event scheduled for this weekend of 9/24&25 at Nashua airport & the Daniel Webster College. The flightcrew of the C-54 "Spirit Of Freedom" will be on hand to meet & talk to all the folks about the Berlin Airlift & the aircraft that made it all possible with such dedicated & experianced pilots & crews back in 1948/49. The start of the COLD WAR & the early days of airlifting supplys & mainly coal into BERLIN around the clock 24/7 kept the City of 2.5 million alive! We will have a true airlift veteran onboard that will be part of the flightcrew & will give a talk & keep you interested all day long!
