A question of visas.

British passport.fATPL, 280 hours, also FAA CPL/MEIR.

Does anyone know any way I could get a CFI rating and work as a flight instructor in the USA? I never thought a mighty 280 hours would stop me getting a J1 visa.

I just don't think I could marry a young innocent American gal in the name of aviation. Any ideas?

Yours in time,

You could explore the student visa route - but probaly not cheap! If you enroll in an American university you get a F1 visa that allows you to do a limited amount of work that is associated with the degree you're stuying for - so if you were to do an aviation or education related degree you could probably work as a FI. I did it a few years ago (pre 9/11)
