Hi,

I always hear pilots say: Ready to es-talish? Es-tablish, What dose it mean?

Establish - place (and settle) the aircraft on the appropriate (normally) electronic 'line in the sky' related to an ATC procedure.

Most commonly used in relation to the 'Localiser' or lateral guidance signal of an ILS. This is where the aircraft must be before final descent can commence.
