Why stop with cameras and manually maintained databases? It's all so 90's. It's really time to stop pussyfooting around and simply microchip the entire population.Then with the aid appropriately located sensors it would be possible to track and record every move anyone ever dares to make.George Orwell was on the right track when he wrote 1984 but he didn't envisage the technologlical advances that would enable an even more efficient "Big Brother" to watch over us to the extent now available.Imagine what that great German Social Engineer of the 30's could have done with this capability,no need for tattoed numbers,savings in the Gestapo payroll and bigger and better concentration camps.
