Any journalist who can produce a report such as this BBC nugget (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4230002.stm) can consider themselves as truly clueless (as can the sub-editor who approved the article). :hmm:
"..disconnected a refuelling hose from a Nimrod jet's hot brakes." Did it not occur to the author/editor to wonder why one would ever need to connect/disconnect a fuel hose to an aeroplane's brakes, hot or otherwise? :confused:
This gripe however should not detract from the well deserved publicity regarding the quick thinking & brave actions from those involved. :ok::ok:
