I am looking into the possibility of installing the Pulselite landing system on an AIRBUS 320 and other aircraft with approval, etc.

I understand it helps in avoiding Birdstrikes.

I am interested in hearing testimonials from actual or past operators.
Would you recommend it or not ?

Also if anyone (engineer ) would know about the difficulty of installing this system on an Airbus ?

Thanks for the input

If you are installing the Pulselite system for the sole reason of reducing bird strikes - don't waste your money. Studies conducted on the bird reactions to strobe and pulsing lights have shown that there was no meaningful responses by the birds to these types of light systems.

This issue is raised frequently and after having spent many years working in the field of aircraft bird strike research I can tell you birds do not react to this type of light stimulus just as they do not react to aircraft radar systems. If you need more extensive details or are looking for strategies on how to reduce bird strikes send me a PM.

If the reason for installing the Pulselite is for increased visibility for aircraft - great.
