Hello everyone,

I hear there is an excellent flying school (I am considering doing my CPL/IR or equivalent) in Langkawi.

Does anybody have any information on this flying school?

Thank you all,

BB

Know a few of guys involved in setting Lankawi up. All good guys, knowlegeable and well intentioned.

They issue a Malaysian CPL/IR. Which is an ICAO licence but not able to directly swap to a JAR Licence.

Where do you want to work? In Europe? If so you will need a JAR Licence. To convert thats 14 exams, Hours as required for the CPL (about 5) and a Minimum of 15 hours for the I/R.

The conditions experienced in Malaysia are very different to the conditions that exist in Europe, this may affect the view a prospective employer has regarding you decision making abilities.

Can say that Lankawi would be the better of the available chioces for training in Malaysia but why would you?
