Hello everyone,

I am a recent University graduate from the UK and would really love to pursue a career as an airline pilot.

I have been looking into various flying schools in Australia...

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any decent ones, as far as teaching quality, reputaion, job prospects and accomodation goes.....

Any help would be great, as its quite an expensive investment I am undertaking....... Thanks......

Also...... On a related note, does anyone have any information as to the procedure involved in converting the ASIS licence into a JAA licence. Such as costs, or if any Australian schools can arrange for students to sit the JAA tests from the beginning?

Thanks alot everyone.

blahblah WAAC in Perth offer a JAR integrated course (www.waaviationcollege.com.au), if you do the Australian licence you will get virtually no credit toward the JAR licence so choose carefully.

Contact Mark Davies at WAAC. Ex Oxford and Wycombe IR instructor. Top guy who has recently set up a JAR course at WAAC.
