Signal 1 Hoisted in Hong Kong today. Possible Signal 3 by tonight....woo hoo. Finally they've arrived!
We used to have great Hurricane parties in the states. Any Typhoon parties in HKG? If so pls post! Everyone fly safe and stay dry.

think its quite common in hkg ........and the news here is quite update too......well its even better if its duty day.that means flights canx:ok:
to ans your question .........yes its common to have parties at home.infact there one going on now already.just a small one

Happy to say I got stuck in the Dickens bar for a couple of days, thanks to typhoon 'York' in Setember 1999. What a bummer!:ok:
Like Blue Eagle, I too was 'stranded' in the Dickens Bar on several occasions.
A grand time was had by all, for sure.:ok:
