Did anyone else see a biplane over S/SE London today (Saturday)at about 12.30 local? Anyone know what is was? It might possibly have been a DH - I couldn't quite see if it was a twin - but definitely a biplane.

And it wasn't wishful thinking, even though I was just outside the Imperial War Museum! ;)

Just curious - no axe to grind, nor do I wish to complain or report!

Could have been one of Duxford's Dragon Rapides - I'm not sure of the route they take over London. I would have thought they'd be to the north though...

BTW, when are we next going for a pint with the Doc?

Doubt it!

The TRA has effectively curtailed the Duxford / City flights for the mo.

Normal route: Lea Valley, Greenwich, Vauxhall, St. Katherine Dock and north for home. Oh, plus a few turns etc.

Classic Wings Rapide just managed to fit one trip in over London before yesterday's TRA.

Thanks all - "Greenwich, Vauxhall" - definitely the route

And DH Rapide is what I would have ventured.

AB - London sure is a quieter place without FFF! Not sure when but definitely up for a gathering.
