Start Flying on Wednesday!!

Well, I commence the start, of what I hope to be a future as a commercial airline pilot on Wednesday. :cool:

I can't wait, I've been waiting for ages to start. It isn't cheap, but I'm sure it's worth it in the end!!

What was your first experience like when you first started?

I'm studying in Queensland, Australia. Also doing a Bachelor of Aviation at University along with it.

I remember my first flying lesson, and my first thought was 'how the bloody hell am I going to fly this thing on my own!' :D.

I remember the first lesson vividly! Wait until you start landings - I was convinced that landing was going to be completely impossible. However, I do still have the same number of take-offs to landings so must have eventually figured it out! :8

Go enjoy it for what it is - a great privilege!

One trial lesson at Bigin Hill and that was it

Look out for first flight, first solo, first land away, passing skill tests, first flight in twin etc etc... and more recently lining up B737 for first time out of Gatwick
