Does anyone know the retirement age for an airforce pilot? I mean, when he/she can actually no longer fly (not serve).

60. This nothing to do with being a pilot, it is the oldest you can serve to. This also applies to reservists on any type of service.

AEF pilots can and do get exentions beyond 60, I think it can happen to those who leave the service but then rejoin, one rank lower, (and I can't remember the name given to this type of service), as a sort of uniformed civilian.

Sometimes they join several ranks lower, don't they? Didn't ACM Hine joined a reserve or auxililiary unit at Hurn after he retired from Strike?

Ditto - we have a 60+ year old regular at work.

I stand corrected.
