Todays formation flight over Auckland CBD

Looked up and saw three aeroplanes in formation over Auckland today. Looked like a pair of duckies led by a 172. Photo ops?

Looks like AFS finally got all their ducks in a row (so to speak)..The new paint job finished, EZX and JED both servicable on the same day, Two BCats that havent moved on to the regionals (One would probably be WS) , and no bookings from dawn to dusk as usual...

I can answer that one easily guys.
They were from Eagle flight training, the 172 was a camera
ship, taking picckys.
Havn't worked out why anyone would like to take photos
of two duckkies!

Bit of a risk taking ducckies over the city, if one engine stops,
there is only one left!

Bit hard on WS aren't you MattyJ, ????
the other day the crosswind was over 3 knots, that probably
accounted for a lack of activity!
