“I’ve been involved in many Sydney-to-Hobart rescues,” he says. “And a few years ago, when Steve Fossett’s attempt to fly solo around the world in a balloon failed and he ditched in the ocean, I rescued him.”

...A Balloon solo AND a rescue solo........

Pat is at Essendon Airport being measured for his G-suit. The suit will help restrict blood flow away from his brain as the PC-9 stunt plane flown by the Roulettes exposes his body to 5.9G, or forces equivalent to 5.9 times his body weight.

Didn't think Patty would've needed a suit to restrict blood flow to his brain... or was that away from?

Neither would 5.9 times his body weight add up to all that much...

Mr Q I think its only fair to clarify that the quote is from the RAAF dude and not Pat, considering the threat was entitled Pat Devlin. Looks like a fun day in the PC9 in any case.

5g times Pats weight=Avergage Phat Pilot :O

Like to see 6 of our NG's do this

5.9G. The g meter isn't accurate enough to pull 5.9g. where did this figure come from?
Another waste of taxpayers dollars.
Good shonk Mirv.
Helps with getting that Virgin job hey!
