Hi all. Just finishing off my C-cat, about to send some CV's out and looking for info from any CTC instructors in New Zealand. What's the pay like? How many hours a year would you do? Heard through the grapevine that some of the time can't be logged. Is there good progression to Multi IFR instruction? Also, is there a bond involved?

I suppose the most important question is.. Are they actually looking for new instructors? hehe

Cheers in advance

I'm not an instructor or on the CTC scheme but as I understand it all of the IR training is done in the UK, only VFR training is done in NZ so if your looking for IR training with them I doubt you'd get to do any in NZ.

Cadets do around 20 IFR flights in NZ split between the sim and time in the aircraft.
