Hello there. im out at ormand beach in August/september. Taking my PPL and hour building (If i pass of course!!), just wondered if anyone is out there at the same time, maybe share some ideas and just maybe the odd cold one between vigorous study and flying!

Mate.....don't worry! you will have a huge circle of friends within days if arriving in florida......the other guys on your course will be happy to show you around so if you're sociable and not a d**khead, then you'll be just fine.

A bit of advice try and get all or at least some of the ground exams done before you go, will make it a lot easier for you when you get there.

As has been said, don't worry mate, you will soon be enjoying a few cold ones with your fellow students on arrival, thats if you get time, they work you pretty hard out there believe me!
All the best, you will enjoy it, flying in Florida really is a lot of fun.
